Today was the funeral for my mothers best friend and a wonderful person who was a large part of my childhood and young adulthood. Today I have been praying for her husband and her children, all of whom are my friends. I have been thinking a lot about Jesus' death and resurrection, and know I will see her again.

REO Speedwagon in the rain. Pam, Deb, Jeff and I waited in line in the pounding rain but it was was worth it, they put on a great show!
