Today we spent the day at Cantigny Park for the Dog Days of Summer. The dog was very happy to come with us. That evening we saw Cheap Trick with some good friends. Here is today's photo of the day.

Today we did some yard work then ran some errands. In the evening played cards with friends.

Well today was the last day in New York. We did a little shopping, hit the park, then walked by the United Nations building, before heading to the airport. Here is the photo of the day.

Today was Sunday so we started the day with church at St. Patricks Cathedral. After the service we grabbed some breakfast and headed into Central Park. We spent the whole morning walking the park. We went into the Met (Metropolitan Museum of Art) and spent a nice afternoon looking at the collection. We then walked the park until dinner, which we ate at Rockefeller Center right next to the Prometheus Statue.

Today we said a sad goodbye to our friends Mike and Rachel. Mike droped us off at our hotel and we headed into Manhattan on our own. We saw some of the uptown sites and then took the subway to SoHo to walk the neighborhood and do a little shopping. We ended the night, as all tourists do, back at Times Square. More New York photos. Today we started with lunch at Grimaldis pizza and then did Lower Manhattan. Later we walked through the downtown area a little bit and rode the ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Here is today's photo of the day.
